Good morning! It's icy this morning, so I think I will miss aquafit. Schools are on a two hour delay in my area. I'll just stay here and sip my coffee till the temperature rises above freezing!

-I need to clean upstairs, so I will make sure to get that done first.
-DD's bf is coming over to do some painting and drywall work...I may need to give him a ride one direction or another.
-Stop at the bank and pharmacy (on the way to dd's)
-Shred a pile of documents that have piled up in my office.
-Drop in to Fiber Fun at 5; bring $$ to buy lucet
-Yoga 5:45
-pizza for dinner

What's going on at your house?

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Good morning! I am up and going strong. I am finally feeling a little bit of energy after being sick for a week. I have some things I need to get done around the house, today, and I need to take DD to dance, but that's it.

I have made a ban on electronics for my kids today. No TV or phones. We've been spending a bit too much time on them. I am going to limit myself, too. I'm not going to watch any TV and I'm limiting my time on other electronics.

Also, ladies, please pray for a friend of my DD. She is twelve-years-old and was molested a couple of years ago. The trial is today and I can't imagine how hard this must be for her. Please pray that justice would be done and the trial would be as easy on her as possible.

Goals for today:
School
Work
One load of laundry
Clean
Pack up for co-op
Message a lady about graduation
Send an email about end-of-the-year program

Good morning, all! Yesterday we ended up with glorious sunny and warm weather. Shorts and tees were broken out of their dark drawers and the heater was given down time.

It's 67-degrees as I type, and we expect to hit near 72, but it's nothing but grey skies and drizzle...so it feels cold. Bright side to all of this is that it is also Taco Tuesday. It's our weekly family outing (and when we can't afford it, we're whipping it up in the kitchen). It's my favorite, so I'm pretty much a happy camper.

On task today:

Vacuum and mop all of downstairs
Dust inside steps (wood)
Deep clean at least the downstairs bathroom
Homeschool
Haul stuff for upstairs, upstairs
At least two loads of laundry

Company coming for dinner this evening.

Peace

Good Morning Lovelies,

I've been up and down the mountain and taken a nap.... Embarassed

How's the upstairs cleaning going, Lisa?

Taco Tuesday! Years ago, we used to have taco Tuesday in MN with neighbors - it is a good memory. Enjoy your warmer weather, Jamie.

Has your grand left, Pam? Sweet memories.

I'm waiting, not so patiently, for 9:30mst to start stalking dd's race. If she races like she fore-ran yesterday, she will finish middle of the pack against some really good racers. She's not happy with that thought so the coaches had to re-visit the conversation about her being 16, still officially in re-hab, about 8 months behind every single other racer as far as training and conditioning and she should be pleased. The bulk of the other racers are 2-6 years older than her.

In other news,

** groceries as ds1 is coming for chili
** laundry x 4 so dd has everything clean for her weekend away
** check in w/parents as their flight plans are all messed up due to the weather in MN yesterday
** vacuum
** spray paint two metal hangings I found at the thrift store yesterday
** deep clean bathroom

Have a lovely day, all.

I used the Instant Pot version of this one, Diana. None of us are big soup eaters and we all liked it. Smile

I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~

"Out of Control" ... Last Tuesday afternoon I sat down to write last week's Quote to Ponder. I never did get to that. ... the Homeschool, Hot Topics, and Recipe Swap sections were shut down. My immediate reaction was disbelief, then came discouragement.
