my youngest dd was born! Very Happy We are meeting her for lunch tomorrow...today is pretty booked up for all of us.

We are in the middle of a heat wave! The temperatures are supposed to approach 60 degrees today, and 70 tomorrow. Shocked Break out the shorts and T shirts! Cool Laughing It won't last, of course, but we'll enjoy it while we can.

My plan:

Coffee & quiet
Aquazumba 8:30
Out for coffee with Pam
Clean upstairs
Meet Patty and Cat re math tutoring 1 pm
Mail Lindsay's running shoes to her
Early dinner--chicken stir fry
Fiber Fun 5-7

How about you?

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Good morning and happy birthday to your DD, Lisa! I missed posting yesterday, because my kids took over my computer all day for schoolwork. Our temps are supposed to reach 76 today and I told them that if they finished all their homework for co-op, we could go to a park. So, they worked much longer and harder than normal, yesterday. Laughing

We are still on "river-watch". Right now, the river is at 55' and is expected to crest at 56.1'. If this is correct, we'll be ok. It doesn't get into my grandma's basement until 58'. But, the expected crest has risen over the last week or so, so it all depends on how much rain they get up-river.

I'll go ahead and post the rest of my week since I didn't do it yesterday:

Tuesday
School
Doctor's appointment (checkup)
Take kids to the park
Take DD to dance class
DS's scout meeting
Lesson plan

Wednesday
Co-op
DD's point class
Church

Thursday
School
Laundry
CLeaning

Friday
School
Twins going to nursing home with youth group

Saturday
Skating party with co-op

Sunday
Church
Twins- afterglow with youth group

Good Morning Lovelies,

Happy Birthday to your daughter, Lisa!

Stacy, When is the crest expected?

We have sunshine and lots of snow. The roads are a mess and we don't have to go anywhere today! No training since the girls had 4 days of racing.

Today is:
** walk the pup - it's a belly dragging snowfall for him and he's not impressed. Laughing Laughing
** school for dd
** laundry from dd
** bake cookies
** check in w/guys

Have a lovely day,all.

Looks like we might have another birthday to celebrate today. Beth's water broke! Laughing Wheee!!! I have a to do list for today. Somewhere. It's got stuff on it. Laughing

I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~

transitive verbs, etc.

She has an excellent grasp on the basics (noun, verb, helping verb, action verb, predicate nominative, appositive, direct object, etc.).

Does she need to be able to do the predicate adjective, etc?

be on the ACT or SAT) that she knows the names of the properties.

Or is it enough that she knows the function of them?

If I have

3 + 5 = 5 + 3 - Does she have to be able to tell you the property name?

Or how about 3(4x + 5y) - Does she have to tell you what property she used to solve it or is it enough that she can do it?
