I can't drink coffee. I just do not like the taste. I have tried it hot, cold, sweetened, unsweetened, etc...

eta: My dr. told me if I'm going to drink mt. dew to at least drink the regular, not the diet. It is my one vice and it's a horrible vice so I need to eliminate it. I started making a lemon/ginger/pomegranate sparkling tea while living in Utah but that's also calories that would be better to eat instead of drink. Maybe I need to find out how many calories are in the tea and modify my day to drink it.

Good morning! It isn't my usual work day, but various staff are taking vacations before the start of school, so I am at the museum today and tomorrow. Just taking a moment to breathe before what is likely to be a busy day.

No other particular plans except making something, anything, for dinner. We got our CSA yesterday and my fridge is loaded with veggies, so it will be some kind of vegetable dish...I'm just not sure what exactly! I have leftover rice and a tiny bit of leftover steak, so maybe a stir fry.

What's going on at your house?

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Good Morning!

Today is the first day of dd's co-op classes. She is signed up for Geometry and ASL. We went ahead and signed her up since the start of her ski season and our move to Utah is so up in the air. She loves co-op and learns well there.

I'm going to cheat and just drop her off today and then come back home to get my car in for an oil change and clean like a crazed yak before I go back to town to bring dd to a youth group house party and favorite sister-in-law and I go walking. We will have my dog with us tonight so it won't be a 7-mile walk. Wink

Once I get home, I plan to:

** laundry
** deep clean upstairs bathroom
** sweep/scrub pergo
** car to mechanic
** vacuum stairs and porch
** weed?

Have a lovely day, all.

Today Jonah and I are taking it easy. We had the exterminator scheduled today at mid-morning, so there wasn't enough time to get anything really going. I'm still working with a migraine and Jonah's still sick. We did a little bit of number and shape work, but other than that he's free-ranging it today. Franklin's last day off is today. He went to take our daughter out for lunch and will be in his studio after. I've encouraged him to make phone calls to his family while he's "in the quiet" and to ask a friend out for coffee or an early dinner. I might be alone all day as a result...Jonah and I will probably spend a lot of time in front of the television.

Curriculum Wars! ... When we first began to homeschool, there were few choices in curriculum and practically no homeschool curriculum developers at all. Homeschooling families were few and scattered so we rarely had the opportunity to discuss various curriculum or methods with peers. Instead, we were forced to do the best thing possible--DEPEND ON GOD.
