What are your plans for today? Here are mine:

Coffee & quiet
9 am to noonish: Water sampling on the lake
Weed the garden
Call Margaret
4 pm pick up CSA
Quick supper
5 pm Fiber Fun
6:30 Prayer group

Once again I have the key and folder for prayer group...the woman who signed up to lead is MIA (at least, she hasn't responded to my email, although she may show up to lead)...so I have a plan of sorts in case she doesn't show. Sigh.

Anyhow, we need to find a new meeting place starting in November. I hope someone else in the group will take charge of that. I really do not want to be the person in charge whenever someone else does not follow through on a commitment, although I am happy to help in an emergency. We'll see what happens...

LIsa, Do you have her phone number? For me, phone calls with voice mail are a little more aggressive than emails. Maybe it will make her move?

I overconfidently agreed to free-babysit for someone on Fridays, thinking that it will help me in the keep-your-home clean department. Laughing Over the weekend, I pulled everthing out of storage AND our huge walk in pantry to overhaul both for other uses...and with the birthday party that went long, and my daughter visiting yesterday unexpectedly, I have not really much done. Today is DH's day off, he worked late last night... and Jonah's been sick since coming home from the party on Sunday. This morning, we're all severely under the weather (I mean, it's almost noon and we are all getting up). We were supposed to be ahead of the game here and shopping for a kitty this morning. Jonah's very understanding (a deep surprise since it really is a disappointment), but I'm stressed about being sick, putting the house back together and still babysitting.

Likely nothing is going to get done today.
