Good morning! What's going on today in your world?

Congratulations to Grammy Pam! Very Happy I am so happy for you!

I am slowly taking steps to find a new house. Dh and I agree that we need to downsize eventually, and I would like to be prepared to move (or possibly actually be in our new home) before I am left alone, since I cannot do the winter outdoor maintenance in this house and I am currently relying on neighbors and my kids to help me. That cannot go on forever.

So far, I have attended a Home Sellers Seminar, called the bank to find out about pre-qualifying for a loan, and contacted a local realtor. Today I am going to call the manufacturer of prefab energy efficient homes and make an appointment to meet with them.

My ideal plan would be to purchase land in my desired location sometime soon, begin prepping the site with driveway, well & septic either this summer or next, build a garage next summer, and then place a prefab home on the site. A year from this July, after I take SS, I will be able to afford a mortgage even if I haven't sold the house we are in. If dh is too frail to move at that point, I can rent the prefab house to dd until I am ready to move.

Here's my plan:

Coffee & quiet
Yoga 9 am
Grocery shopping
Tutor Cat 1:30
Call Vermod homes to make an appointment
Dh works 5-8
Leftover pizza for dinner
Book discussion H is for Hawk 6:30

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Titus Study ... Led by Barbara Smith (BWSmith) ... [T]hose 46 verses were written by Paul, who you know has a gazillion ideas in each sentence! He wrote shortly before his death to Titus, who was pastoring a new church in a community of folks who shared many of our own trials and triumphs, and our "limitations." (Titus 1:12)
