When covering up the red, try having a real quality primer tinted to the same color you want the final coat of paint. It still may take an extra layer or two of paint, but it'll come out even toned.

Peace

Good morning!

Chemo days just got a whole lot easier. Dh had been having debilitating side effects from one of the chemo drugs, so the doctor discontinued it. This drug took 90 minutes to administer, so our chemo days are now 90 minutes shorter. And he is finding the aftermath of the chemo much easier to take, too. Doctor says there is no evidence that there is a benefit in continuing the drug for more than 6 cycles, so it is fine to discontinue it.

Today I will be playing catch up after chemo yesterday. My plan:

Coffee & quiet
Clear out emails
Feed sourdough starter
Yoga 9 am
Grocery shopping
Work on office closet
Misc paperwork
Dinner?? (I'm going to the grocery store, and will find something good)

Stacey, I hope that stomach bug is short-lived, and you are feeling better.

What about you?

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Great news on the discontinuation - and I hope that you both benefit a bit from his feeling better. I'm so glad to hear this news.

I'm procrastinating on the computer this morning. It's freaky cold here in Florida...and it's our first day for Tinkergarten (outdoor class). I want to cancel soooooo bad. We're going, though.

This afternoon I have a doctor's appointment to take care of some stuff that is pretty frightening that I haven't shared. I was on the phone with my MIL last night, since she had this shortly after we met. She's so tough, she's lived through her husband having cancer twice, with stage IV, and a daughter with breast cancer, so this all seems duck off a water's back to her...but she was so nice. I ended up crying quite a bit. I haven't been that vulnerable with or in front of her ever (she had a foot in mouth moment with Max's death...she meant well, but you know how that goes). Anyway, I told her that it was really tough wanting a mom for things like this and knowing your mother doesn't love you. She told me, ""Aw, you do have a mom. I am your Mom, Ok? And I love you." That was sooo nice to hear. I'm on orders now to call her as soon as I come home from the doctor's appointment.

That's it for me today. No clue what lunch or dinner will consist of...we had fruit pies for breakfast, LOL (kinda like pop tarts). It's just a get through it kind of day for me.

Peace

Good Morning Lovelies,

Good news, Lisa, on the change in meds!

We are up and going - It's supposed to be 60* here today in the valley! However, by Friday night, it's supposed to be miserable (for here) and by Saturday morning, the mountains are supposed to have between 10 and 24" of snow depending on the altitude. I am ever so thankful dd is headed to Wyoming for a race today and I don't have to drive anywhere!!! I don't mind the city driving in the snow, but that canyon road scares me silly when it is snow-packed. I don't care how many snowplows they send up and down it, it is still a mountain road with sheer drop-offs. Whine over.

Today looks like:

** dd packing
** walk pup
** laundry x 1
** pick up race coach and bring her to the van w/dd to head to WY
** write a quick letter to a dear church family - we are praying for each other's children in a few specifics.
** husband arriving on 8pm flight
** check in w/oldest son - he actually took 3 sick days this week

Maybe I'll run to the store and buy some felt and ribbons to make some bookmarks. I broke down and bought a new Bible (James on to Revelations kept falling out of my old Bible along with misc. other pages!). I don't want to use my old bookmarks and saw a cool idea to make some.

Have a lovely day, all.
