We woke up to a blanket of snow...4 or 5 inches on the ground, and still falling.

Dh and I are going to church at 9 am. It is close enough to walk if we have to (about 1/2 mile), but we think we can get through the snow ok.

Kids and their families will be here early afternoon for gifts and lasagna dinner. Dd's bf is bringing his son, so we will have a child here for the first time in many years. (Eldest dd has three, but they live in Houston, so we won't get to see them on Christmas).

So grateful to have dh relatively well and able to celebrate with us! We will treasure this time together.

Merry Christmas to all of you and your families!

Merry Christmas!

I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~

I want to make this a family affair since my husband is not a christian and am hoping this gets him interested in the Bible."
