Hi, ho! Hi, ho! It's off to work I go today...

I have yoga at 8:30, and then off to the museum for the day. While there, I plan to work on a course description for an OSHER class next fall that we plan to hold there.

Dh is working from four till 8, so I will come home to an empty house. Leftovers for dinner, and then I plan to work on the hat I'm knitting for Akwasi.

That's my plan, and I'm sticking to it.

How about you?

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Good Morning,

We are off to the chiro, and then dd has co-op. She will stay at co-op until the concert tonight. An entire gaggle of girls has their afternoon planned with classes, studying, and 'preparing' for the concert. Wink After the concert, dd and a group of friends will go out for dessert. If ever there were a child that breaks the old stereotype of 'isolated, unsocialized, fearful homeschooler' my daughter would be it. She wears this introverted mama out most days. Very Happy

I have two stops to make after I drop dd off and possibly three if my mother in law calls again. I'm after three "love your melon" stocking hats. They are hot commodities up here and worth every penny. ETA: If I could make a stocking hat, I would .... Lisa, I'm always so impressed with the way you make hats, etc. for your loved ones.

Tonight is the Christmas concert (dd is signing in it) and then home to finish packing.

Have a lovely day, all.

I completely misjudged what was on my calendar - seems my two tech calendars stopped communicating with one another.

We're making another batch of cookies this morning with an additional batch in the evening.

We're seeing the dress rehearsal performance of a nativity play by one of Jonah's younger classmates. The town is roughly an hour away, and we've never been so I'm trying to give myself a little extra drive time...which means buying lunch on the road, most likely. We used the last of our bread for breakfast before I thought how convenient throwing sandwiches to-go would have made the day. I'm really excited taking Jonah. This year we are strapped for cash so I've sought out a lot of free-to-inexpensive things for us to experience and I've made sure the focus remains on God and the Christmas story vs Santa, etc.

I have to reclean the kitchen before bed, put laundry away that's piling up, and then if I still have time before bed, post a few things on the neighborhood yard sale page. Oh, and I have to place some Amazon orders for gifts.

Scratch my evening plans - just remembered tonight is scouts

Love Your Melon donates a large portion of their proceeds to pediatric cancer and donates hats to children battling cancer.

Dd had a friend pass away from cancer this last year so we are 'upping' our effort to purchase stocking caps from them.
