Good Morning Lovelies,

I just had a brain flash that I have one week to get ready for UT, get the house ready for the people living here during UT, do Thanksgiving, work my last 4 days, get dd to/from PT, finish gift shopping, decorate for Christmas, and get a few meals in the freezer. I may just go back to bed.

Dd is down to one crutch and according to the surgeon and pt she will be walking on her own tomorrow. She's on the uphill swing, thankfully.

** Monday -- going to my husband's cousin's home with my favorite sister-in-law to hear about some new (expensive) health and wellness thing she is involved with. Confused Favorite sister-in-law and I couldn't figure out a way to say, 'no'!

** Tuesday -- PT and work

** Wednesday -- Pre-op - me

** Thursday -- brunch w/my family -- work for me -- husband and dd to his family

** Friday -- PT and work -- my husband is making noise about wanting to do some early morning shopping Shocked

** Saturday -- work

** Sunday -- church

** Monday -- surgery - me -- hernia repair from surgery 14? years ago!

Have a lovely day, all.

25yos, 23yos, 13 yod I guess I am old enough for adult children.

My stomach hurts, but I still choose joy! :-)

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - cleaning the house - it's a disaster. DH took yesterday off and it just became worse - and now I'm behind on laundry day as a result AND errand running day (today) because I have to catch up on laundry. I loved him being home, I truly did...but his doing that the same day I told Jonah he could build forts with couch / chair cushions was too much for my OCDness. And this morning, he began to do the same thing...only now he's adding so much stuff to it that I'm starting to feel itchy. I keep telling myself that the only company I'm having is my 2yo grandson on Thursday night and it'll be ok...old habits are dying REAL hard ladies.

Thursday is Thanksgiving, and we're supposed to go to my SILs for the big meal. I love going, and she requires that I don't bring a thing. Jonah looks forward to it all year so he can see his favorite person in the whole world, his older cousin (mid teens now I think?). I'm doing well emotionally this year, but haven't had productive alone time in forever. I honestly want to duck out of Thanksgiving for myself and send the boys along. I'm sure I would regret it, but there it is...I don't know what to do, but Franklin returns to work on Saturday for a solid week and things never slow down in the month of December.
