Good morning! Dh is on the upswing after chemo, finally. He is eating more and feeling better, but still losing weight. We are getting excited about his friends visiting this weekend. They are staying in a nearby hotel, but are coming here for dinner Saturday. I am making a crockpot of pulled pork and providing paper and plastic ware. They will stop by the grocery store deli to get sides and beverages. It should be fun, but they are a lively bunch, so I hope it isn't overpowering for either of us (dh because of his illness, me because I don't do crowds well).

Today is my busy out-of-the-house day:

Coffee & quiet
Laundry (forgot to do it yesterday)
8:30 yoga
10:30 education class
2:00 history class
New vacuum cleaner arrives
Blue Apron box arrives
Clean floors
Leftovers for dinner

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Lisa T.

Good Morning,

We are up and going - dd has the chiropractor soon and then it's off to her sign language class. I will be grabbing the ice cream, etc. to make her ice cream cake for her birthday.

I work this afternoon and will be giving my one month (ok 27 days) notice. I have enjoyed working there, but between surgery and moving to UT, I need to be done. My husband and I were talking that even if we weren't moving to Utah, there is no way I could continue to work simply because of dd's schooling and she'd be racing here which is the same time commitment.

A neighbor is coming over while we are gone today to use the washing machine - hers is broken. Love my neighborhood.

Have a lovely day, all.

25yos, 23yos, 13 yod I guess I am old enough for adult children.

My stomach hurts, but I still choose joy! :-)

Lisa, I'll be praying for a great time of fellowship for you all on Saturday. (I kwym because I get overwhelmed by people, too, even when it's just family.)

Renee, happy bday to your dd! Ice cream cake is the best!

Things are crazy here. Crazy. Today is a chill-as-much-as-possible day, but that will have to happen between the tasks that can't be ignored, lol.

I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~
