A dear friend of mine is walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. She has walked over 400 km and is starting the final 100 km.

She was my son's first grade teacher, and has been retired about 5 years. I think she is amazing to be doing this! She is with two friends of a similar age.

I have been enjoying her blog. She posts nearly every day. I thought some of you might enjoy reading about her adventures:

There is life after retirement! Cool

I hope to go back to Ghana with dh in a few years to visit old friends and places that hold memories.

What's on your bucket list for retirement?

I really want to hike the Pacific Coast Trail someday. I'm not sure if I ever will, but I like to romanticize what it would be like. Maybe this walk would be more realistic of an adventure.

I want to visit every continent, and ideally, run a race on each one. Someday, I want to run a marathon. I didn't start racing until my 40's, so it is still a possibility.

My sister has done that walk twice. The second time, she had to bow out because she picked up bedbugs. She had to throw everything away and start over with new everything down to her undies, which screwed up the budget for the adventure.

Good for Francine!

In Him--Tracy

Managing Our Time ... Successful time-management consists of so much more than who can get the most done in the least amount of time--as Christians, we want to be sure we're about our Father's business and fulfilling His plans for our lives.
