Question about grocery store pies from the unrefrigerated portion of the bakery area (not frozen). How long will they last? I bought one yesterday thinking we were MUCH closer to Thanksgiving than we are (I was ready to eat tomorrow!). I don't like Pecan Pie, but my daughter does...and believe it or not the entire bakery was out of every kind except Pecan Pie (dozens and dozens of them available).

Will it be good to serve late Thursday night? Should I put it in the fridge (it was not refrigerated, they were just laid out on tables in the store and it has been on my kitchen counter overnight).

Peace

I ended up popping the plastic cover, putting wrap on the pie and replacing the plastic cover, just for a little extra protection, then putting them in the refrigerator until day of.

Peace
