I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~

I feel like I've lost footing on the calendar. I'm not doing anything big for the holiday season, so it definitely is not a matter of just not having enough time to get things "done." Truly the saying that times go faster as you grow older is real.

Sunday - church, trying out two new Sunday school classes for Jonah. I was 20 minutes late to my own because Jonah freaked out and wouldn't let go of my leg. Sigh. He always looks happy when I pick him up from these things, and then proceeds to tell me how much he did not like it and never wants to go again.

We also introduced him to the Star Wars Film through Rogue One.

Monday - Down time today. We played dinosaur family with his little action figures. We shopped for a present for my M2M class (exchange) tomorrow and stopped for a lunchtime 2-slice cheese pizza deal. We saw Daddy out working on the way home and was able to stop for a surprise chat. We cleaned a little, watched the third episode of Little House on the Prairie, cleaned a little more and are taking another break. I've promised to play just a little more this evening.

Tues - M2M class & Christmas party, donation drop off, air in tires and fill car with gas. Hopefully we can get a car wash as well

Thursday - Zooacademy homeschool class for Jonah (using it as a teacher's planning day for myself)

Friday - Play date lined up in the morning. Christmas tree farm in the afternoon. Christmas cookie exchange party in the evening (DD is picking up DS and taking him to the zoo-lights Christmas show while DH and I are at the party)

Saturday - Decorate the tree

At some point in the week I have to get the base to our Christmas tree out of DD's storage unit.

Peace

"Stretching Hope" ... Laughter helped turned things around. A good dose of humor tore down the strong, hard walls that were being built up between the two of us. The walls that had prevented us from reaching out to each other, encouraging one another, praying for one another, and loving each other.
