I was thinking about the Newsweek cover story on homeschooling and the Internet poll by ABC News that asked whether parents were qualified to teach their children. Something inside of me was hoping these could convince skeptical friends and relatives about the merits of our decision to homeschool. [Support our Advertisers!]

Grocery Store Pies? [message #820873] Tue, 21 November 2017 11:31

Question about grocery store pies from the unrefrigerated portion of the bakery area (not frozen). How long will they last? I bought one yesterday thinking we were MUCH closer to Thanksgiving than we are (I was ready to eat tomorrow!). I don't like Pecan Pie, but my daughter does...and believe it or not the entire bakery was out of every kind except Pecan Pie (dozens and dozens of them available).

Will it be good to serve late Thursday night? Should I put it in the fridge (it was not refrigerated, they were just laid out on tables in the store and it has been on my kitchen counter overnight).

Peace
