How is everyone this morning?

Dh gained a little weight this morning! Very Happy We are hopeful that he will continue. That would be huge.

Here's my plan:

Coffee & quiet
Aquafit
Knitting group
Laundry
Work on Christmas gifts
Leftovers for dinner

What's going on with your family?

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Good Morning, Lovelies

Wah-hoo on the weight gain!!

Dd is in the shower getting ready for co-op. Who knows if she'll remember anything, but it's good to go.

Cold, windy, damp, and cloudy - I so do not like these kinds of autumn days.

We have a 'hope to leave for Utah' date! Dec. 10 is dd's target. She hopes to be cleared from PT on Dec. 8th. I think that's a stretch, but we'll go with it.

Today is:

lots of driving to/from co-op and youth group
a bit of Christmas shopping - Christmas w/my family Dec. 9
Order some pictures for ds1 new home
sweep pergo - the leaves get tracked in quickly
1 load of laundry

Have a lovely day, all.

Lisa, that's great to hear that your dh is making progress. Smile Continued prayers that improvements keep getting better and better!

Renee, I'm glad your dd's surgery went well. Praying that she continues to improve as well and hopefully even meet some of *her* goals! Wink

Jamie, the decorating sounds like a huge undertaking!

Things have gotten a bit crazy here! Mom's surgery went well and she's home, finally doing some better. I've got lists coming out my ears for Thanksgiving prep. I'm not used to hosting 16 for such a big to-do dinner. It'll work, it's just figuring out timing of everything and what can be done ahead of time, etc.

Feed fish
Water plants
Put beans in crock pot
Call vet
Sweep baseboards
Make Rachel's bed
Clean fridge
Scrub K counters
Vacuum
Work on grocery list/menu (post menu on fridge)

I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~

Pam,

Good to hear your Mom is home and doing better.

Are you doing a traditional Thanksgiving meal? We are doing a brunch w/my side of the family and then going out to eat w/my husband's side of the family. 16 is a nice size without being crazy large. Have fun!

Thanks, Renee! Yes, a traditional dinner. I think we'd all be okay with non-traditional... except dd1. There would be mutiny if we tried to stray from the norm! Laughing I love the idea of going out!

A Wasted Day? ... Do you ever look back upon your day and think, "What did I really accomplish?" Every week I hear from frustrated mothers who feel they don't have enough hours in the day to do all that's needed.
