Went to the Moms 2 Moms group this morning. We didn't have our study (we knew this in advance) but were recruited to decorate the church. Now, this is a mega church, so it was a huge undertaking. Our group did almost the entire thing in just a couple of hours. I was allowed to tag along behind the scenes with the woman who has organized this undertaking for the last 10 years. It was quite the experience, really cool.

I ducked into the grocery store just long enough to grab something for tonight's supper (frozen pizza) - unfortunately when I was in the store I scratched myself somehow on my forearm and was bleeding a lot, so I had to dash, hiding my injury (no idea how, didn't feel a thing). Pretty gross/embarassing.

I cleaned all of our upstairs yesterday, so I'm hoping to attack the downstairs kitchen this evening, and work on the living room tomorrow. I can bring stuff out of our storage area after that to put away (baby unproof items and junk I needed to put away when my daughter house sat for us last month). Then, giving myself the weekend to do a little maintenance work and reestablish my routines and we can start making Christmas gifts, cookies and decorations.

Peace

Would anyone like to discuss how to teach a Gospel? ... I read something really interesting recently about the book of Mark. Let's see if I can get this straight. ... Here's the really fascinating part. Up until this century, many scholars tended to see Mark as a collection of important stories of Jesus' ministry with sort of "filler" material gluing it all together. But this "filler" material apparently has recently taken on new meaning since C.H. Dodd published a paper on it in the 1930's.
