Ha! I'm actually "up" early enough (it's just past midnight here) to start the morning thread (usually I'm a day late, LOL). Renee, how is your daughter doing?

Today is just stay-at-home day. I've been out of the house for half-days every day this week and I'm realizing that I am uncomfortable with every day trips out of the home (that's not true, I'm uncomfortable having commitments every day). I'm not feeling well, and I am hoping for a lot of rest, some time just to be with Jonah one on one, catch up on household things...and I've been experiencing a lot of body aches and migraines (I'm certain it is my introverted stress building up), so I'd love some rest. We have a birthday party to attend on Saturday, and I need to be better to make it through.

Is there anything you need to accomplish before heading into the weekend?

SOAP to all.

Good morning! The wind is howling outside, and we are supposed to possibly have a little snow...The frost is on the pumpkin, for sure.

My news today is that I have an interview next Friday for the library job I applied for. It would be a perfect little job for me--10-12 hours per week, flexible hours, general library work plus helping with children's programs. Very Happy

Today is pretty relaxed...Aquafit in the morning, drop off some muffins at church for their bake sale tomorrow, stop by the bank with a check, and take dh to the hospital to get disconnected from his chemo pump at 2 pm.

If dh is up to it, we might go to a movie at the local high school tonight. There's a free movie in the fancy dancy new auditorium every Friday night...tonight it is Sherman and Peabody. I used to love Rocky & Bullwinkle (you guys might be too young to remember that show?) so I think it would be fun. Dd and her boyfriend may be taking his ds, so if dh is too tired, maybe I will meet them there.

Renee, that is exciting news about your dd! I bet she will be thrilled to take one more step toward full recovery.

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Missing The Mark? ... We see "socialization" as opportunities for fellowship and/or ministry and not limited to peer groups. We believe that these skills are best developed and nurtured from a place of strength and security in a loving family, reaching out to others together--sharing Jesus with a lost and dying world, edifying and encouraging our brothers and sisters in the Lord.
