Good morning! Dh had a fabulous day yesterday...even went out to visit friends and do some shopping. His pants are fitting better, which means he is gaining weight. And he was pain free this morning.

All that means...today is chemo day. So we will spend all day at the hospital, and then he will feel tired and generally terrible for 5 or 6 days. But hopefully, two weeks from today he will feel even better than he does today.

Before we go, we need to get the trash to the curb and start some laundry. Dinner tonight will be leftovers. I have some nice pasta from yesterday, and a little leftover pulled pork from the weekend.

How is your day shaping up?

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

Good Morning Lovelies,

Lisa - fabulous news on your husband having had a good day! I will be praying for him (you, too) as he has chemo.

Today is co-op for dd, then we race to her surgeon to hopefully(!) schedule surgery to remove the screws from her ankle. Youth group tonight for dd while favorite sister-in-law and I walk and talk and solve the problems of the world. Wink Since it gets dark so stinking early we have started walking in a mall. Last week we walked for 1 hour and then shopped for 30 minutes. Sil is thrilled with this arrangement as it will get her Christmas shopping done in record time. Very Happy

Have a wonderful day, all.

I must get better at checking in - I'm dashing at the moment to catch up on housework.

Today was the big park day (usually later in the week, but we needed to reschedule).

IKEA also opened up in our city, so "live news" coverage was a plenty. Apparently there were people who were winning free couches, chairs or pot ware...still not enough to entice me to wait in line. People were sleeping outside waiting to be first in line! I'm waiting a couple of weeks, hitting it before Thanksgiving, but in the morning of a midwork weekday. Then I probably won't go again until February (yeesh the holiday shopping there will be nutzo).

Peace

A Banquet or Burgers -What's Your Preference? ... We must choose how we will "dine" this holiday season - a banquet or burgers. If enjoying a festive holiday meal takes time to enjoy, so private Bible study and worship take time to savor.
