Rejoice in hope,
endure in affliction,
persevere in prayer.
Romans 12:12

Good morning! Dh woke up pain free...we'll see how he feels after he eats. The verse above was in my reading this morning and it really struck me that this is what my attitude needs to be during this time. It is a positive feedback cycle: If I start with joy and hope, it gives me the strength to endure. When my endurance flags, prayer gives me hope and joy. The effect gets greater as I practice it.

In other plans, I am going to make a quick pasta dinner when I get home, and try to go to Fiber Fun. I am working on two projects: a lap blanket for dh, and a winter cap for dd's boyfriend. I think I will take the blanket to Fiber Fun, and the cap to chemo tomorrow, since it is small. I might be able to get the cap mostly done tomorrow.

I plan to start laundry when I get home from Fiber Fun, and finish it tomorrow before chemo.

What are your plans?

Have a great day! SOAP for all of you.

When Parents Disagree ... Karen was concerned, she appreciated her husband's leading in their home but was worried that his decision to change to a new structured curriculum was going to spell disaster for their homeschool!
