Dh has friends (his bicycle club buddies) visiting this weekend. We are going over to their hotel room in a couple of hours for lunch and chatting. They may all take a bike ride while dh naps, and then here for dinner. I made a crockpot of pulled pork, and have homemade sauerkraut and cauliflower pickles and spicy pickle chips...and rolls for the pork. They are going to bring beverages, cole slaw, potato salad, and apple pie.

Tomorrow will be catching up on everything I usually do on Saturday...mop floors, do laundry, pay bills, bake bread...and church.

What’s going on at your house?

Have a wonderful weekend! And don’t forget to set your clocks back! SOAP for all of you.

It's cloudy, breezy and cool here (cool for AZ, it's 69, lol) and nice. Smile Today is Luke's 15th birthday party. Just family but his sister and bil are coming down from Phx to surprise him. It should be fun. It's our first big (mostly) gluten free family gathering. Hopefully it'll go well. I found gf tortillas and a gf cake mix so Andrew won't be left out. We're doing a taco bar for dinner. I was able to almost everything pre-prepped yesterday so that's good. Just last minute filling the ice bucket and warming things. Don't think things have ever been this organized for a bday party, lol! Just the usual things tomorrow. Have a great weekend, everyone!

I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~

"Breaking the Grip of Griping" ... "Griping is a hallowed American privilege. From protesting the ump's call, to criticizing those who govern us, we are free to complain. Americans are free to say what is on their minds, but American Christians might pause and remember that complaining -- even in a soft voice -- is simply say God has not done enough for me; I deserves more than what God has provided."
