If we are going to re-activate this board, perhaps we should have a weekly check in so we don't completely forget about it.

So....let's report our progress by answering a couple of questions. (If you don't like my questions or you want to add a question, feel free...I am not in charge! Wink Just trying to get something regular started here).

How has your week been as far as eating goes?
I have been snacking on forbidden items far too much this week. Embarassed
I have tons of veggies, but I think I need to prep them so I will grab them for snacks.

How is your progress toward your goal?
I did not gain weight...but I didn't lose weight, either. Reason: see my answer to the first question.

What are your goals for the coming week?
-I plan to prep some veggies and make a grain salad in advance so that I have good foods available to snack on.
-I hope to lose a pound.

Please share your week and your goals here!

My week so far has been like a little rebellious child. I shouldn't have that-well then lets eat it! Shocked Pretty sure I am stress eating with a job offer for dh. Good thing but insurance issues and the new job only pays monthly. As in no paycheck for the month of September. S*T*R*E*S*S

I am resetting my goal. I will weigh in tomorrow because I've no clue.

My goals for the week are to PLAN. I have a menu plan for dinners, but I need to figure out my individual plan and have thing easy and accessible.

So glad we are doing this. I have not been able to sign on and post in forever, but since they reset the board last week I thought I would give it a go and it worked!! Very Happy

How has your week been as far as eating goes?
I do really well until I sit down for the night - I need to figure out a different routine.

How is your progress toward your goal?
I have not weighed myself in ages - I need to start doing that again but am thinking I will concentrate on not munching my way through the evening. A handful of almonds is ok - almonds,a cheese stick, etc isn't!

What are your goals for the coming week?
No Mt. Dew - Cut back on the tea - 2 fruits a day.

How has your week been as far as eating?

It went pretty well. Although I was surprised to find out that I was the only one nibbling on the batch of cookies I baked last week. I pretty much polished them off single handedly. Embarassed There are quite a few things I would have rather eaten. I definitely need to be more mindful.

How is progress toward your goal?

Down a bit more. It makes me wonder how much it would have been if I hadn't eat all those cookies.

What are your goals for the coming week?

Eat more carefully!! If I could repeat last week, without the cookies, that would be perfect. My hardest workout is Monday morning and it is done already. Very Happy I want to exercise smart this week. Work hard, but not over do. While I want to plan a workout routine, I'm at the age where I need to be flexible and listen to my body. I'm not good at being flexible in this area. Confused

I see I should have added a question about exercise! I have been pretty steady with that, so I kind of forgot about it....

So, if anyone wants to respond about their exercise, please feel free. I will add it to the questions next Sunday.

*sigh* This week hasn't gone great, but I'm up a couple of pounds and not sure why. Confused

I'm going to calorie count on the meals that I will have control over and just try to stick to limits. We have family in town for a few days and dh and I are going out of town Fri-Mon, so it might be a bit dicey.

Exercise isn't happening. I'm in the middle of switching from one med to another and since they both use the same receptors in my brain it'll take a while to get one out of my system and the other to start working. In the meantime pain is high and I'm moving like a decrepit 106 year old. Confused

I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~
