OK, so it's been nearly six months since many of you purchased an Instant Pot during the Black Friday sales.

I'd like your reviews - I hear a lot of love for these Instant Pots, but two things I really, really want to know are:

1) Has this been the workhorse that you dreamed it would be? Has it earned a permanent space on the countertop?

2) How many times a week are you using the Instant Pot? Are you using it more mainly meal-by-meal, or have you incorporated it into any weekly menu prepping?

Peace

I use mine about twice a week. I will probably use it more in the summer as we do not have air conditioning and the oven is HOT.

I love it, it cooks things fast and meat is juicy.

Yes, it is a workhorse, even though I don't use it as much as larger families, because there are only two of us living here. Smile It has a definite home (not counterspace, because I store it elsewhere, lol).

I use it at least once a week, sometimes more. I try to plan meals around it, in addition things like cooking 24 eggs at a time for deviled eggs for a crowd, or four cheesecakes in two days for a special event.

Interesting that you mention cooking for such a small crowd...that's partly what I'm curious about...if it would pay for itself with a small family. If it can help meal prep for the week, it would be more valuable to me than quickening dinner now and then.

Peace

How Can I Pray? ... Christian parents, who have given their children so much, are amazed to see many of their children literally chuck all their labors of love and devotion. The temptations our children face are horrendous . . . and the consequences for failure to overcome them have compounded.
