I could use your prayers this evening. There is a problem between us and another family in our church, and since it's such a small church, I desperately want it all to work out well. This is really an issue between my 14yo dd and a friend of hers. I was willing to let the two girls work it out between themselves, but now the other girl's mom has gotten into it. She "lit into" my daughter today, and really jumped down her throat about a text that MY dd sent to a DIFFERENT friend, NOT this lady's dd. But, it was insulting to this lady's dd. The lady's dd only found out about it because she took MY dd's phone without permission, and read all her text messages. So, now this mom has gotten all over my dd and has said that she plans to "have a talk" with me tonight. Please pray that I can remain calm, and kind, and say only what the Lord would have me to say, and that He will get glory from this whole situation. Thanks to everyone who takes a moment to pray.

Ladies, thank you for praying, and please keep praying. On the surface, things should be okay. The problems were discussed, apologies offered and accepted on both sides. However, my Dad, who is our pastor, overheard some of it, and had some things to say to me and my dh. Now, my dh is upset over some of what my Dad said. My Dad made some points that we agree with, but also said some things that my dh felt were a little out of line. Also, my dh says he is now uncomfortable around the family with whom we had the conflict because they seem so very easily offended that he now feels the need to walk on eggshells around them, and he hates that. So, while the immediate problem has been dealt with, I still lack peace about the situation, and feel that much prayer is still needed. The fact that all of this comes on the heels of our 12 yo dd having been sick and in the hospital has left me feeling like my emotions are nothing but a bunch of raw nerve endings. Yes, I want peace, but most of all, I desperately want God's will to be done in all of this. Please continue to pray, and thank you so much.

I'm so sorry. I'm praying for all of you! And especially praying that you will receive supernatural peace and comfort and refreshment from the Lord. You have been through a lot lately --and
"For this you have Jesus."
With love and hugs,
Tamara
Blessings,

Amen, Tamara, For this we have Jesus, and for that, I am so thankful. He has given me this verse, and I am clinging to it today~
I Peter 5:10 KJV~But the God of all grace, who has called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, will make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
That "settling" is what we so desperately need, and what we are earnestly praying for. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement.
