I wanted the 'I don't know- I have to ask the children....' option.

'I' don't dust. My dd seems to love it, however, and I catch her running around the house singing and dusting away to her hearts content.

Anyone wanna borrow her? Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

MMMMMEEEEE!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy I detest dusting!!

I've always wondered which is better. I usually dust after because I thought that the vacuum just shoots dust back out.... that's my logic.

I vacuum before dusting...I was told or taught...can't remember which...that when you dust and then vacuum you end up having to dust again because vacuuming stirs up dust...I don't think it probably does, but since I've done it this way for years...why change now? and besides I don't dust every time I vacuum anyhow. Dust first then vacuum all the stuff that I dusted onto the floor. By the time I ever do dust and vacuum it's pretty easy to see! Very Happy

I dust then vacuum. I do everything before vacuuming. Vacuuming and mopping are the very last things I do on cleaning days. Or else they just get dirty again before dh gets home and then I have to vacuum again before he gets here.
