My brother in law just called to talk to dh...and apparently a cousin has spoken to my father in law. How many weeks since Maria?

His house is undamaged, but he has no cell, water, or electricity. Very little food in the stores--he has money, but nothing to buy.

So relieved to hear he is OK. Very Happy

Now we have to try to get him the word that dh is so ill.... Sad

That is great news. I'm sure that is helpful for your dh to know his father is okay.

Oh, I'm so glad you finally got word on him and that he's okay!!! Scary about the lack of food situation. Hopefully that'll be taken care of in a timely manner. Praying for you to be able to contact him directly.

I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. ~Phil 3:13-14~

Praise God! That must be a relief for your DH!

"Impossible to Please" ... My daughter was pouting. I had added to our daily list of things to do. She felt I had gone too far this time, but, honestly, I hadn't. "Something else? We already have so much to do! Aren't we ever done?" This tired cry sounded so familiar to me.
